Best Wedding Planner in the UK BrideLux Awards 2021

Planned for Perfection are delighted to announce that our owner Jane Riddell, won Best Wedding Planner at the The BrideLux Awards at The Dorchester Hotel in London earlier this month. A shortlist of talented Wedding industry companies were nominated by The Bridelux Awards Nomination Committee, then industry colleagues and wedding professionals were invited to vote for the best in the business.

It is always wonderful to receive another prestigious award, but the fact that the BrideLux Awards are the only awards globally to be voted for by our industry peers, makes them genuinely extra special. It is wonderful to be recognised by fellow wedding professionals as the Best Wedding Planner in the UK for 2021 and we are incredibly honoured to have received the award.

The awards evening was the culmination of BrideLux London Symposium 2021, which saw three days of wedding industry experts and atendees coming together at some of London’s finest hotels, to build on what is predicted to be an industry boom!

The Symposium commenced with an Alpine Chalet Chic Party at Shangri-La The Shard. The following day the Bridelux conference was held at The Jumeirah Carlton Tower where Jane was one of the panel of wedding experts discussing Luxury Destination Weddings for 2022 & beyond. That evening, attendees and speakers enjoyed a souring 2020’s party at The Berkeley - a modern Gatsby inspired celebration with immersive entertainment, fabulous cocktails and delicious food. Everyone returned to The Jumeirah Carlton Tower for the final day of the conference, ahead of the gala dinner and awards night.

Leading wedding industry professionals from across the UK, Europe & the USA attended the infamous Bridelux Awards at the iconic Dorchester Hotel for an evening of celebrations, following what has been a tough 18 months for our industry. The awards are the most prestigious awards ceremony in the wedding industry and this year was more special then ever. It was an evening to celebrate with a renewed sense of hope after the global pandemic and it was fabulous to catch up with wedding industry friends that we had not seen for so long. It was also a night to celebrate the nominees and the winners of the sought after awards, where the very best were acknowledged for their hardwork, dedication and professionalism.

Champagne and Canapes were served, before guests made their way into the Ballroom for a decedant three course meal. The Ballroom was styled beautifully with ten thousand red roses from Floward UK. Each table was adorned with stunning floral runners, linen from Just 4 Linen (who won best rentals company too!), cutlery, crockery and glassware from WhiteHouse Event Crockery. and exquisite stationery from intricate creations .Lighting and production in the dining room was provided by Banana Split Events, the beautiful chandeliers were from Crescent Moon and entertainment from Six15 Events

James Lord, CEO and Founder of Bridelux handed over the stage to comedian Shappi Khorsandi to host the evening and her unique take on the institution of marriage was hilarious. Shappi, along with wedding industry colleagues, handed out the following awards:
