Blenheim Palace Wedding

Oxfordshire wedding venue Blenheim Palace is one of my favourite venues, Mr P4P proposed to me here many moons ago, so this stunning location holds a special place in my heart and we are always delighted to return to the palace for our clients beautiful weddings.

It was obvious from the first time that I met our bride Helen to discuss her wedding plans, that her attention to detail and organisational skills meant that this would be an incredible wedding. She had given so much thought to every tiny detail of her wedding planning and each supplier had been carefully considered. We were delighted that she had chosen Planned for Perfection to ensure that her dreams for her perfect wedding in Oxfordshire came together seamlessly on the day.

Wedding venue

Located in the village of Woodstock, Blenheim Palace is steeped in history and both the palace and grounds are truly captivating, quite simply the perfect backdrop to any wedding celebration. Helen and Adam chose The Orangery, which overlooks the Italian gardens, to host their romantic palace wedding.

Bridal party

Helen looked absolutely stunning in her bespoke Suzanne Neville couture wedding dress and fabulous Burberry heels. Everything about the day was so elegant, with Helen herself the epitome of the beautiful bride - timeless elegance at its very finest! Not forgetting our handsome groom, who looked very dapper in his suit from our friends at Buckleighs of London.

Bridesmaids

Helen’s three bridesmaids wore the most divine soft pink, fish tail dresses from Monique Lhuiller and Helens adorable little niece walked down the aisle holding a “Here comes the Bride" balloons from Bubblegum Balloons.

Wedding day styling

The couples unique wedding stationery was lovingly designed and made by the Brides proud parents, using a soft blush and gold colour palette that echoed the design details used throughout the wedding. The super talented Joanna Carter Flowers made the prettiest bridal bouquet using white hydrangeas, pink piano roses, sweet avalanche and pink peonies. These gorgeous flowers featured throughout the day and the cascading floral table runner, was used on both the ceremony table and the oval top table, as a statement piece for both the wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast.

The orangery at Blenheim Palace

Initially The Orangery was a romantic ceremony room where the couple exchanged their vows, we then transformed the room with the Palace team for the wedding breakfast. The room looked beautiful - the tables were dressed with gold tipped charger plates, cutlery and glassware from Couvert Hire and ornate gold candelabra's were covered with a mass of more gorgeous blush, cream and pink flowers. A five tier pink ruffled wedding cake made by Petit Gateau was simply stunning and tasted as amazing as it looked!

Following the wedding breakfast and cake cutting, the room was quickly transformed once again for the evening party, where guests celebrated until midnight, before saying farewell to the newly-weds, who flew to the Seychelles on their honeymoon.
