The Orangery at Blenheim Palace

We were recently invited to a Wedding Planner Showcase at Blenheim Palace to celebrate the stunning transformation of The Orangery, following the recent completion of a £2 million pound restoration project. In January 2023, Blenheim embarked on a project to replace the glass roof of the Grade 1 listed building, restoring it to its former glory and what an amazing job they have done! Not only does The Orangery’s roof restoration showcase the venues commitment to preserving its heritage, the renovation perfectly combines a modern contemporary space, with timeless charm of this beautiful historic palace. The new and improved Orangery is now a light and airy room with its own private terrace, which overlooks the Duke of Marlborough’s Italian Garden and the south lawn. It is the perfect location for weddings and parties and we can’t wait to style the beautiful space with another Planned for Perfection couple soon.

The showcase was held in the stunning Orangery and was a great opportunity for us to witness the newly revamped space and for the Blenheim team to show wedding and event planners just how wonderful the Palace is for weddings, events and parties. We enjoyed welcome drinks from Nyetimber and the room was beautifully dressed with pretty flowers by wedding florist Fabulous Flowers, with production on the evening sponsored by Bespoke Events London. We were so impressed with the elegantly restored event space, with its beautiful dining space and stylish bar area and know it is going to be a real hit with couples from around the world, looking for a palace wedding in the heart of the English Countryside.

We have been lucky enough to plan weddings at Blenheim Palace and know firsthand what a stunning venue it is for luxury weddings and fabulous parties. We also know what a romantic location it is for proposals, because not only have we planned proposals here for couples around the world, Blenheim Palace holds a special place in my heart as it is where Mr P4P proposed many moons ago(on a rowing boat on the lake no less!)
