A Luxury Marquee Wedding at Sezincote

London based designer Carla had very specific styling ideas for her marquee wedding at exclusive Cotswold wedding venue Sezincote House; Carla wanted to plan her own wedding independently, but needed the help of a professional wedding planner to ensure that all of her hard work would come together seamlessly on the day.

After booking our  “Yours for the day” service, we met Carla in London to discuss her specific requirements for the day and once again a few days before the wedding for a detailed handover with Planned for Perfection wedding planner Fiona, who was in charge of over seeing this event.

Inspired by grandiose style of  Mughal architecture in India,  Sezincote is an elegant and luxurious Cotswold wedding venue which was built in 1810. Located in 5,000 acres of grounds, with an ornamental  lake and quirky  statues dotted throughout the Rajasthan-styled gardens, Sezincote is a beautiful “East meets West” venue, hidden in The Cotswold hills, not far from Moreton in Marsh.

Carla & Wade chose the curved Orangery as the location for their romantic wedding ceremony, followed by a champagne and canapés drinks reception in the impressive grounds, which were admired by the American guests who were flown in from New York.

A delicious wedding breakfast was served in a beautifully styled marquee, with food served by the fabulous team at Wesley House, before the grand unveiling of the cake cutting and a very romantic first dance .
