Love will find a way!

We have been planning Amelia & Matts wedding for over a year with our gorgeous bride Amelia and her lovely mum. Plans were in full swing for the most amazing day of celebrations at their family home in Wiltshire on 30th May 2020... & then Coronavirus hit!  At first, Amelia and Matt were adamant that they still wanted to marry this May, but when Covid 19 was officially classed as a global pandemic, we all soon realised that we needed to consider the option of moving the wedding date... 

With less than three months until the wedding weekend, invitations had been sent to guest and RSVP’s were returned. Everything was in place for an incredible celebration; A converted barn on the family estate had been licensed for the wedding, the bride had picked up her wedding dress, the adjustments to the grooms suit were being finalised by the family tailor, the marquee lay out was confirmed, a delicious wedding menu was chosen, a stunning cake design confirmed, flowers and styling was all signed off and the bands were ready to party...

Whilst we discussed postponing the celebrations until later in the year or even into Summer 2021, these two love birds simply couldn’t wait to get married and so took the bold move of following their hearts! Mother of the bride called the local registrars and just a couple of days before the U.K. went into lockdown, Amelia & Matt were married in an intimate wedding at home on Saturday 21st March 2020! 

Their wedding was nothing like the day we had planned during the previous months, but it was the most beautiful intimate wedding with just parents, grandparents and siblings sharing their day.

COVID-19 may have postponed the wedding that Amelia and Matt had been dreaming of, but it was still the most wonderful day ... and what an amazing story of “love conquering coronavirus” to tell their children & grandchildren one day! 

Luckily, all of the original wedding suppliers are available on the new 2021 wedding date, so this fun loving couple will celebrate in style next year, with a beautiful anniversary blessing and an incredible celebration party with their family and friends.
