The UKAWP is the leading industry body for the wedding industry in the United Kingdom and the prestigious elite membership is by invitation only! We are delighted to join a team of other talented, professional and experienced wedding planners, who like our owner and creative director Jane, have all been in wedding business for over five years, planned more than 35 weddings and consistently provide outstanding service to the wedding industry.

Established in 2004, The UKAWP promotes professionalism within the UK wedding industry with honesty, integrity and creativity. Membership of the UKAWP directory is by application or by invitation only, with members having to earn inclusion, rather than simply paying to join the directory.

Since launching, the UKAWP has provided a trusted directory and all members have to adhere to the following business practice code:

• Respond to enquiries within 48 hours

• Respect client confidentiality

• Disclose any suppliers that they have a vested interest in

• Pass discounts and/or commission onto clients

• Ensure the Public Liability insurance is up to date

• Never give client details to any third party not involved with the wedding

• Respect copyright from fellow wedding professionals

• Represent each client fairly and honestly

• Use legally sound business contracts with clients

• Cultivate a business free from discrimination and support diversity, equality and inclusivity
