Tip 3

With so many weddings around the world being postponed to 2021 and beyond, if you are at the beginning of your wedding planning journey, or you still have outstanding wedding suppliers to confirm, do book them as soon as possible, because suppliers will be booked up in advance due to so many rescheduled celebrations.

Tip 4

If you haven’t already, set up a Pinterest account - not only is Pinterest a fabulous source of wedding inspiration you can set up private boards to share ideas with your bridesmaids, planners and family.

Tip 5

Isolation is the perfect time to put together your wedding gift list - we highly recommend Platinum by Prezola, an exclusive service available to couples who wish to create a truly bespoke wedding registry. Do quote Planned for Perfection when you apply and the usual registration fee will be waived.

Tip 6

If you have chosen to write your own vows, now is the ideal time to start thinking about them. There are also so many beautiful ideas on line for ceremony readings or you have time to write your own that are unique to yourselves. It’s also the perfect time to choose your readings, write your speeches and tackle your table plan!

Tip 7

Choose your first dance song and whilst you’re listening to music, add any “please play / please don’t play songs” to a playlist for your DJ - Do trust them to keep your dance floor full, but if there are any must have songs / must not have songs then it’s important to let them know.

Tip 8

Take dance lessons in the kitchen, the garden or the lounge at least once a week... there’s hundreds of ideas and suggestions on YouTube!

Tip 9

Whether you want to celebrate your engagement, ask your best friend to be your maid of honour or your Bestman, celebrate what should have been you hen weekend or stag night, the reality is, for now it’s only going to happen online until social distancing is lifted, so try to make it fun and unique.
